Theory Test
This part of the test involves answering 50 questions displayed on a
computer screen. A number of incorrect responses are shown, and the candidate selects his or her choice by touching the screen. To pass 43 questions must be answered correctly within 57 minutes.
Hazard Perception Test
After completing the multiple-choice questions the candidate is given at three minute break before starting the hazrd perception test. The test consists of 14 video clips featuring various types of hazards with each clip lasting about a minute. The candidate has to respond to each hazard by the clicking the computer mouse, the earlier you respond to each hazard the more points, one film clip has two set hazards. up to 5 points can be scored on each designated hazard. The pass rate is 44 out of 75.
You must pass both parts to pass the Theory Test.
The price of the theory test is £31.00.
